The Director willbe responsible for offering expert strategic and operationalguidance to the Board and the Executive Director, CreateSA,ensuring alignment with CreateSA''s priorities. Through effectiveleadership, commercial decision-making and implementingcomprehensive, long-term organisational and financial strategies,the Director will ensure the Museum''s ongoing success andsustainability. The Director will work with the Board, staff andrelevant stakeholders to serve the community by growing and sharingour natural and cultural heritage. The ideal candidate will haveexceptional credibility in one or more aspects of the operations ofthe museum, paired with an ability to engage, partner andcommunicate effectively locally and internationally withstakeholders, donors, benefactors and the academic community. Youwill therefore have a strong understanding of the broader contextin which the Museum operates. You will have significant leadershipqualities and experience and an inherent passion for the Museumthrough a strong record in research relevant to the interests ofthe Museum, collections and/or curation.
