Our passion for glass ensures we lead the industry, providing high quality products and innovative solutions for industrial, residential and commercial applications.Reporting to the Sales Centre Manager, we are currently looking to fill the role of a Glass Worker who can assist with crane truck operation at our Morwell site. This is a permanent full-time position, and will ideally suit a hands-on, self-motivated person with experience in the processing, manufacturing or production industry.What we offer:Immediate start with onsite car parkingFull time permanent positionWork with a results-driven and passionate teamGuided by a supportive management teamAustralian owned and operated business producing high quality glassAbove award wages and opportunity for overtimeOngoing training & supportShift Days/Times Monday to Friday:Day Shift 7:30am 4pmResponsibilities:Cutting float and laminate glass by hand and by machineUsing an overhead crane for loading and unloading of glassBack up crane driver for local, regional deliveries to our customersEdging, polishing of toughened flat glass & cleaning of glassManual handling and processing of glass productsMaintain a safe working environmentOur ideal candidates will have:MR truck licence required, with HR truck licence desirablePrevious processing, manufacturing or production experience (Glass experience is desirable, but not essential)Experience in operating computer-controlled equipment, including monitoring and adjusting process settings will be highly regardedForklift licence and experience would be ideal, but not essentialAbility to understand and follow detailed production schedulesQuality focused and driven with a high attention to detailSafety conscious, ensuring a safe work environmentPositive attitude, willingness to learn and a team playerHow to apply:Apply online today via Seek with a cover letter and resume.
