Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations and provide an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers, and community members.You Will Assist WithRetail sales and operation of Point of Sale devicesCollecting, sorting, and pricing donations in storeAssist in the development and coordination of visual merchandising and store presentationProvide exceptional customer serviceDisplay stock in correct departments, following policy and procedureFollow Occupational Health and Safety policy and proceduresDemonstrate TSA core values in all work-related activitiesHeavy lifting and manual handling: move, lift, and arrange stock, including furniture and large donationsAbout YouPrevious experience in retail sales, while highly regarded, is not essential. What is essential is your passion and proven ability to deliver outstanding results in a complex and rewarding retail environment.You will be a high-energy, hands-on individual with a proven track record of providing extraordinary customer service. As someone known for your integrity, you will be comfortable aligning with The Salvation Army Mission and Values to positively support and impact the lives of others through your career contribution.To be successful, you will have the flexibility to work a rolling roster including weekends and be prepared to work across various locations in the retail area.You will be an outstanding communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills.
