In our pursuit for excellence, we encourage entrepreneurial thinking, challenge the status quo and inculcate a sense of ownership while fostering an environment of transparency, collaboration, respect and integrity among our employees, business partners and the larger community.About The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for service passionate and highly motivated Food and Beverage Attendants to join our award-winning team at Stamford Grand Adelaide on a casual basis.To be successful in this role, we seek applicants who like to be of service to others, who have table service experience, this includes the subtly of upselling.Our Food and Beverage Team are dynamically flexible, they can be rostered either AM, PM including weekends, in our Promenade Restaurant.Key ResponsibilitiesUphold Stamford Grand Adelaides service standards, this includes immediate guest acknowledgement via verbal greeting paired with a warm smileProvide exceptional service to guests who enter our beachside HotelTake guest reservations, seat parties and answer general questions about the restaurant, Hotel and the local areaAssist with floor plan and cleanliness requirements prior to meal service, this includes table, banquet & buffet set up and clearanceMemorise menu/s, offer guests educated food paring suggestions, upsell products and be able to cater for guests with dietary requestsManage guests food orders and work with a team of chefs, managers and other food and beverage attendants to ensure guests have a positive experienceStrong interpersonal skills, be able to communicate openly and professionally to cater to our guests needs promptly and professionally on every occasion during your shiftDisplay empathy and kindness to all internal and external guestsAbout YouYou will have a bright, energetic attitude, hold a current RSA and Food Handlers Certificate, in addition to:An understanding of wine service including recommendations, food pairing and precise pouring skillsThe ability to handle 3 or more plates at one time with easeA high level of personal presentation and groomingFlexibility to work various rostered shifts over a seven-day rosterDemonstrated experience as a Food and Beverage AttendantAustralian working rightsCulture And BenefitsAs a team member with us you can expect to receive:Great opportunities for career developmentThe opportunity to work with industry professionals in an exciting hotel environmentStaff meals provided on shiftDry cleaning allowanceAn attractive food and beverage discount programHow To ApplyIf you have the experience, we''ll give you the opportunity.
