Share your civic pride by keeping our beaches clean and tidy.Permanent full-time role 38 hours per week.Flexible work arrangements available.City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking a dedicated Beach Cleaner to join our City Presentation team and assist in keeping our citys beautiful beaches clean and tidy. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working the morning shift 4am - 12.30pm.As a member of our team, you won''t just work for the city; youll co-create it. As our Beach Cleaner you will be responsible for the cleaning of public conveniences owned by City of Newcastle in accordance with prescribed schedules to ensure these facilities are free of hazards to health. You will also oversee the removal of litter & debris from beaches and beach surrounds (including mowing of grassed areas) to ensure facilities are presentable and safe for public use.In this role youll perform regular cleaning duties including, but not limited to, ensuring litter is collected, the maintenance and cleaning of facilities, restocking of consumables (toilet paper, soap etc.), and sweeping of floors/hard surfaces.
