OverviewColliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our Civil/Site team in Maine. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the professional, technical, management, marketing, administrative, and financial aspects of their department. They represent the firm as an expert in their specific department field and manage the department to provide cost-effective services to department managers, project managers, staff, and other employees, ensuring adequate profit for the company.This position is based in Maine, with candidates expected to work out of our Brunswick or Biddeford offices.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and strategic direction for the discipline to achieve financial and growth goals.Ensure productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality of work across the discipline.Develop and lead marketing and business development strategies in collaboration with the Corporate Marketing and Business Development teams.Monitor proposal development, contract execution, billing, and collections to ensure compliance with company procedures and financial goals.Serve as a resource for discipline leadership.Monitor work backlog and resource sharing, maximizing staff utilization.Participate in business development and cross-selling of company services.Plan for the future of the discipline through succession planning.Hold managers accountable for staff development, staffing, and employee relations.Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety procedures, collaborating with the Discipline Safety Coordinator.Travel regularly to various regions and offices as needed.QualificationsBachelor''s Degree in a related field.15+ years of leadership and managerial experience in a related field.Professional licensure in the area of expertise.Effective leadership skills across large teams.Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.Strong communication, strategic thinking, delegation, collaboration, and accountability skills.What We OfferAt Colliers Engineering & Design, we prioritize our employees by providing a safe, supportive work environment, opportunities for career growth, and meaningful projects that impact society.
