Their corporate finance team is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.About the jobWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Financial Accountant to join their team on a 6-month contract basis, with the potential to become a permanent member. You will play a crucial role in managing and consolidating financial reports, ensuring compliance with ASX regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning.Prepare and post journalsReconciliationsSupport team members with month-endBusiness partnering to resolve issues and ensure accurate financial reportingAccruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactionsSupport improvements through testing and the use of tech applications to automate reporting and journal entriesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to ongoing finance transformation initiativesYou will needBachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA qualification is highly desirable.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an ASX-listed company.Strong knowledge of ASX reporting requirements and IFRS.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Whats in it for youSalary range: $110,000 to $125,000 per annum plus superannuation.6-month fixed term contract with the opportunity for permanency.2 days work-from-home flexibility.Handy city location, close to all public transport.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and inclusive work environment.Please apply with your current resume in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or .docx).
