Youll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes.What role will you play?As a Senior Manager and Complex Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Lead, you will support our Financial Crime Risk, ANZ Institutional Advisory team in reviewing complex and higher-risk client and counterparty relationships and transactions.You will primarily work with businesses in the Commodities and Global Markets group in ANZ to advise on financial crime risks, due diligence measures, and, depending on the risks identified, mechanisms to mitigate risk exposure related to clients and transactions. You will oversee monitoring of Macquaries high-risk customer population.You will collaborate with stakeholders in the broader Risk Management Group and internally within the Financial Intelligence Unit, Policy and Program teams, and other regional advisory teams.What you offerStrong understanding of AU AML/CTF regulations, sanctions landscape, anti-tax evasion facilitation, and anti-bribery and corruption compliance.8+ years experience in risk advisory, financial crime compliance, or pre-transactional due diligence.Understanding of institutional banking products, services, and customer types, including global financial markets, asset finance, and commodities.Experience conducting pre-transactional due diligence for asset acquisitions and/or EDD on customers in higher-risk industries, including reviews of financial crime risk management systems and controls.Strong critical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to make risk-based assessments and decisions.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage, advise, and influence at multiple levels.Experience in a global financial institution or consultancy is advantageous.We welcome applications from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
