This role is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational delivery of high-profile electoral events. This requires experience in large-scale resource planning, vendor and stakeholder management to the timely production of ballot materials. As chair of the Local Government and Parliamentary Election Delivery Group, the Head of Program Delivery will guide decision-making, foster key discussions. This senior leadership position will shape strategic planning, and offer expert guidance on complex, sensitive issues.The Head of Program Delivery is responsible for the provision of strategic advice and recommendations based on previous electoral events, data analysis and assessment of the electoral landscape to assist the organisation to make informed program planning decisions in line with the Election Delivery Strategy. Focused on building a high-performing and collaborative team culture, the Head of Program Delivery will manage resource planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement, while promoting a safe and respectful workplace that aligns with the VECs vision and values.To be successful in this position, you have strong project and change management expertise with a proven track record in delivering large-scale event-based or transformation programs on time. You have excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills while having the ability to manage stakeholders and navigate complex, sensitive issues. You are adept at implementing processes in line with legislative requirements, fostering continuous improvement, and adapting to changing demands.
