About us Whitpro Pty Ltd has been operating in the Whitsundays since 2005. Having purchased land to support the companies steady growth, the site is being prepared as a bulk landscape supply yard, capable of holding trucks, plant & equipment for its multiple divisions including truck & machinery hire, delivery services including water, landscape supplies and parcels, nursery and irrigation supplies. With continual growth, Whitpro requires an additional mature administration personnel who is organised, detailed oriented, able to manage the servicing records of a vehicle fleet of 50, answer phones and assist with enquiries and support and when necessary, direct staff with a friendly demeanour. Qualifications & experience Applicants for this position must: Be customer focused, dealing with customers on the phone and face to face. Its of high importance that you interact positively with customers and staff no matter what is going on in the world Be willing and able to learn products and services to confidently and competently liaise with customers both domestic and commercial, to take orders, to order stock & complete forms for quotes & work orders Be able to pass on directives to staff and communicate and organise daily jobs as they come in on short notice Be detailed orientated, as there is a lot going on, so details are your friend Be efficient in accounts receivable, ensuring payment terms are reminded to those who are forgetful Be happy to leave the office chair and assist in the yard to service customers Have a manual drivers licence to use company vehicles when necessary to take equipment to job sites or in for repairs, drop off cars for servicing, pick up supplies when necessary etc Have good computer skills - programs can be taught but must have good working knowledge of excel, word and preferably MYOB (though not essential if you have used other accounting programs) Tasks & responsibilities All roles within Whitpro require individuals to be willing to assist others with tasks when necessary, this means being open to a range of tasks on occasions that may be outside of the usual daily duties Strong communication skills are essential - with staff, management & customers Following up overdue accounts and taking customer payments Liaison with customers, in person and on phones assisting with product and service enquiries, availability and arranging quotes Assisting with stock orders and maintaining fleet records Stock ordering and pricing General duties ensuring a safe, tidy and organised work space Report to management on a daily basis Work well with and supporting the dedicated team in servicing the community in a variety of different fields Benefits This role is suited to an individual who enjoys diversity in their weekly tasks - staff support, developing systems, data collection and reporting, customer service and getting out doors throughout the day in the landscape yard to stretch the legs and assist customers A long term, stable position with regular hours Monday - Friday, 7:15am start essential - finishing time negotiable A diverse operation with many sectors, with much to learn and a variety of skills to gain if interested
