Discover Your Next Role Suitable applicants are invited to apply for the permanent Crushing Console Operator position at Pioneer Mill. The Console Operator reports to the Operations Coordinator and is a hands-on position responsible for operating the cane feeding and crushing stations, working closely with the operations shift team. This position involves continuous shift work with some overtime in the Crushing Season (June - Dec). During the non-crush period (Jan - May), the person in this position would assist in maintenance and capital work execution on a day work roster. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to further develop their current skills and qualifications to become a valuable asset to the Pioneer production and maintenance team. Your Role in Action Main duties through the sugar crushing season include: Operation of a Citect SCADA SystemOperation of the cane feeding and preparation plantOperation of crushing station and associated plantComplete operational logs and shift stops reportsAssist in plant isolations, undertake risk assessments and follow the permit to work processComplete maintenance work requests and basic maintenance work scopingPerform any other task as directed by the Operations Coordinator Desirable skills required for the maintenance season include: Confined space entry and working at heights qualificationsCUC - Common User Competencies (TAFE modules)Dogging, Rigging, OH Gantry Crane and ScaffoldingMobile Plant Tickets Please ensure these form part of your application.
