About the role As a LeadingHandyou will be responsible for the completion of the project on or under time, whilst ensuring a safe site is maintained and a quality product is constructed for delivery to the client. Projects will include minor civil infrastructure works and urban development projects. Duties Thorough understanding of OHS and environmental requirementsArrangement of Plant, Labour and material resources for projectDirection and monitoring of Sub-Contractors, Suppliers and plant hirersControl of survey requirementsDaily monitoring of activity costsMonitor compliance with safety andenvironmental requirementsMaintain compliance with construction programReport all non-conformances and assist recommendations for remedial workMaintain daily record of site activitiesEnsure clients quality expectations are being met / exceeded (in accordance with spec) Skills and qualifications Certificate III in Civil ConstructionCurrent drivers licenceGood communication skillsAttention to detailProven leadership skillsHave a thorough knowledge of the drawings, specifications and quality requirements for all site related activitiesMust have experience in minor civil infrastructure works and or urban development projectsStrong sense of teamworkProven ability to constantly deliver high quality construction projects within budget and program constraintsHave experience in shoring Benefits We believe our people do their best work when they feel supported personally and professionally.
