Job Description With 65+ hotels across Australia and New Zealand (and more on the way!), Minor Hotels is on an exciting growth trajectory. Were looking for an experienced Senior Brand Manager to join our dynamic Brand and Marketing team at our Corporate Office in Brisbanes CBD . This newly created, national role presents an incredible opportunity to lead the evolution of our brand across Australasia, developing and executing innovative campaigns, PR strategies, and brand initiatives that connect with our audiences. In this strategic position, you will work closely with operational and commercial leaders to create a seamless and elevated brand experience, ensuring consistency and excellence at every guest touchpoint. Youll oversee both operational brand strategy and customer experience, leveraging data-driven insights to strengthen consumer preference, boost satisfaction, and drive measurable growth. As a key brand advocate, you will also develop tools and training programs to empower our teams to embody and deliver our brand values at every level. You will play a pivotal role in the success and growth of Minor Hotels across the region, ensuring our brand continues to exceed expectations and resonate with our guests. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead the development and implementation of brand marketing initiatives across Minor Hotels Australasia, ensuring impactful launches and alignment with global and regional strategies. Focus on operational brand strategy and success, ensuring the consistent delivery of brand standards and customer experience across all touchpoints. Continuously optimize brand operations to drive operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and long-term brand loyalty across Minor Hotels in Australasia. Drive brand transformation programs for Minor Hotels in the Australasia region, collaborating with cross-functional teams and creative partners. Manage and enhance the social media presence for all Minor Hotels brands in the region, ensuring alignment with brand standards across owned, earned, and paid media. Spearhead public relations and influencer strategies, working with PR agencies to enhance media relations, brand storytelling, and crisis communication. Identify and implement brand partnerships to boost awareness and enhance brand perception and preference. Provide opening support for new hotels, ensuring pre-opening brand elements are executed seamlessly. Collaborate with the global team to implement brand tracking initiatives and measure the success of key campaigns. Act as a brand champion, ensuring all communications and marketing efforts align with the brand promise and drive positive consumer perception. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will bring the skills, attributes, and qualifications needed to drive impactful brand initiatives and foster business growth: Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in brand management or a similar leadership role. Minimum 6 years of experience in brand marketing within a large organisation, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand marketing initiatives that drive brand growth and consumer engagement. A strong ability to understand business objectives and translate them into effective brand programs that support organisational goals. Proven experience analysing consumer insights through data and research to inform omnichannel marketing campaigns, including influencer strategies. Strong organisational and project management skills with experience driving cross-functional teams and external agencies to exceed expectations. Leadership experience in guiding and mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and empowering others to deliver results aligned with brand vision. Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and find innovative solutions in complex environments. A team player with a growth mindset, a can-do attitude, and the willingness to take on projects outside the typical scope to support team success.
