About the Role As a Fivetran Sales Engineer in ANZ, you will drive transformation and efficiency for customers of all sizes in a booming market. Using your experience with Data Replication/Integration, ETL/ELT, cloud data warehousing, and analytics, you will guide prospects and partners to faster, more reliable, and secure data integration solutions. You will be supported by a world-class Sales Engineering team, an agile APAC Sales team, and a product that just works to expand our presence in Australia and New Zealand. Technologies Youll Use Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL Linux, Solaris, Windows, AIX Python, PL/SQL, SQL Scripts, Shell Scripts AWS, Azure, GCP Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite, Google Drive What Youll Do Drive pre-sales technical discovery and solution discussions with data architects, engineers, DBAs, and other technical professionals interested in maximizing data value Manage and close technical demonstrations and POCs, serving as both SME and project manager Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and similar inquiries Enable staff, partners, and the data community on data concepts, product features, and best practices through articles, presentations, training, videos, and coaching Provide technical guidance to new customers for successful adoption and scaling Support onboarding use cases during the first year with Fivetran Skills Were Looking For Proactive attitude with creative problem-solving skills Minimum 5 years experience with RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, or SAP in enterprise or support roles Experience with Data Replication/Integration (CDC) tools Proficiency in SQL scripting Knowledge of Python/JavaScript and REST API interactions Hands-on experience with modern databases and cloud deployments Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks) Knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP Hana is a plus Ability to articulate the value of BI and analytics tools to technical and business audiences Passion for data, analytics, and solving business problems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and teaching Experience influencing decision-makers in large organizations Perks and Benefits 100% employer-paid medical insurance Generous PTO, sick leave, parental leave, holidays, volunteer days RSU stock grants Professional development opportunities Team-building activities, virtual happy hours, and free food Monthly cell phone stipend Access to mental health support platform *Benefits may vary by country and worker type.
