Browse through the employment listings below to discover your dream rural or remote health care job.Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Remote Services Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality, culturally appropriate primary health care services across PAMS remote clinics.Job No: PAMS 290425Location: NewmanEmployment Type: PermanentEmployment Category: Full-timeLocation: Newman, WA (with frequent remote travel to PAMS-serviced communities)Remuneration: $145,000 to $160,000 per annum + SuperannuationBenefits: Furnished Accommodation, 2 x Annual Return flights, Salary Sacrifice up to $15,900 p.a.About the OpportunityReporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Remote Services Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality, culturally appropriate primary health care services across PAMS remote clinics. This role involves clinical oversight, operational management, staff development, and ensuring compliance with standards, legislation, and accreditation requirements (including AGPAL).You will travel frequently to remote clinic locations, fostering a strong on-the-ground presence and maintaining trusted relationships with the communities served.To be considered, you must have:Registered Nurse, Midwife, or Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA registrationMinimum 5 years experience in comprehensive primary health care with strong clinical leadershipManagement experience with multi-disciplinary teams across diverse geographical areasUnderstanding of Aboriginal health and cultural issuesSkills in quality improvement, accreditation, Medicare optimisation, and data reportingHigh-level communication skills and conflict management capabilitiesProficiency in health management systems (preferably Communicare) and Microsoft OfficeAbility and willingness to travel via 4WD and light aircraftCurrent WA Working with Children Check, Police Clearance, and valid drivers licenseIdentify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait IslanderPrevious experience as a Remote Area Nurse (RAN)Additional qualifications in leadership, chronic disease management, mental health, child health, or relevant fieldsExperience working in or with remote Aboriginal communitiesThis role involves working with a multicultural organization where most staff, clients, and stakeholders are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
