We offer a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 35 countries globally.The Role:Due to an internal move, we are looking for Payroll Officer to join our team at Gatton. You will be as a strong 2IC to the Payroll Manager, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to both the Payroll Manager and Finance Manager, this position requires strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.Your Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with company Enterprise Agreements and payroll regulations.Perform monthly reconciliations of leave entitlements, superannuation, and payroll tax liabilities.Prepare and submit weekly PAYG reconciliations and payroll reports.Provide support and leadership to the Payroll and HR teams.Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.Work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.Manage payroll for a large workforce (500+ employees preferred).Who We Are Looking For:You have minimum 2 years experience in a similar roleYou have excellent people skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.You are energetic, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.You have exceptional time management and organisational abilities.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.You have strong written and verbal communication skills.You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft suite.You have experience with Pronto (advantageous).Why Join Stanbroke?Professional growth:Enhance your skills within a leading, vertically integrated business.Supportive Team Environment:Join a collaborative and innovative workplace.Family-Owned Stability:Be part of a trusted, family-operated Australian business.Employee Benefits:Exclusive discounts on our premium meat products, and more.Ready to crunch numbers and make an impact?
