Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$80,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yrDirect message the job poster from Peak NanoThe Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and refining assembly methods, techniques, and practices to improve throughput, reduce cycle time, and enhance product quality. A key focus of this role is to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologiesincluding automation and roboticsthat support process scalability and performance gains. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who works closely with Assembly, Quality, and Engineering teams to translate design intent into efficient and repeatable production processes in a high-precision environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze existing assembly operations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvementDevelop and implement improved work methods, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workstation layouts to reduce cycle time and increase throughputIdentify, evaluate, and implement advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation, robotics, and intelligent tooling to reduce manual variability and improve scalabilityMonitor production data and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of implemented improvementsLead and document time studies, process capability studies, and root cause investigationsPartner with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure that process changes maintain or improve product qualityDevelop, document, and maintain production work instructions and SOPs; coordinate training and ensure production personnel are prepared to execute revised processesSupport manufacturing readiness for new product development and collaborate with suppliers and vendors on tooling, process capability, and quality improvementsParticipate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologiesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering within a precision assembly environmentDemonstrated success identifying and implementing automation, robotics, or other advanced manufacturing technologiesProven success improving manufacturing throughput and reducing cycle time while maintaining or improving qualityStrong analytical skills and proficiency in time studies, process mapping, and data analysisAbility to translate engineering requirements into efficient, scalable assembly proceduresProficient in Microsoft 365 suite of applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and trainingPreferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial EngineeringExperience with Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma tools and techniquesFamiliarity with optical or electro-mechanical assembly processesHands-on experience with fixture design and basic CAD toolsExperience working in ISO 9001 or other regulated manufacturing environmentsAbout Peak NanoPeak is a US-based, AI-driven technology company that uses nanotechnology to solve macro-level global challenges.
