The Role: We are expanding our Insurance Consulting team and seeking specialized Senior Business Analysts with Guidewire (Policy Center) experience. You will work primarily within a cross-functional squad, including Digital Strategists, Digital Architects, and Agile Coaches, providing industry and client business insights to address specific challenges. In consulting, this involves: Helping clients discover and create new value for their customers, their business, and society through technology. Assisting clients in understanding what a modern business entails in their context and managing the transition. Facilitating future design, orchestrating delivery, and helping clients realize value. Typically, engagements last between 8 weeks and 6 months, during which you will analyze businesses, their people, and customers to define and solve complex problems by shaping strategies, designing digital solutions, or architecting implementations. You may work through multiple stages of the transformation lifecycle. In this Guidewire Business Analyst role, your responsibilities include: Gathering requirements through user interviews and sessions. Analyzing system and functional specifications. Facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with business users and developers. Translating business needs into clear requirements for insurance policy projects. Developing documentation such as user stories, use cases, process flows, data flows, and report mock-ups. Planning and conducting requirements sessions and presentations. Building strong relationships within business units to understand their needs. Collaborating during project definition to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities. Ensuring solutions improve business process efficiency and are consistent across products. Qualifications and Skills: Experience with functional specifications for Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in the Property & Casualty domain. Hands-on experience in writing user stories, requirements, and conducting workshops. Knowledge of Agile SCRUM and business analysis methodologies. Ability to produce clear, concise documentation reflecting business needs and software capabilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
