Spinifex State College - Mount Isa Education and Training Precinct is seeking applications for a Deputy Principal - Junior Campus to join their school community on a full-time permanent basis. About Spinifex State College Spinifex State College is a three-campus educational facility. Our Junior Campus caters to years 7-9, the Senior Campus to years 10-12, and the Residential Campus houses all boarding students. Our school aims to develop clever, skilled, and creative learners. To achieve this, we provide students with access to quality curriculum programs and learning opportunities. We also inspire our students to explore their passions, harness their unique talents, and fulfill their potential. Each year, our students who aspire to tertiary education achieve excellent results due to the support and readiness programs run by the school. About The Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the Principal in leading the school community to develop, articulate, and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. Deputise for the Principal when required. Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral activity. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
