It exercises jurisdiction over all young people sentenced by a court to a period of detention in a youth residential centre aged 10-14 or in youth justice centre aged 15-20 and those transferred by the Adult Parole Board from imprisonment in an adult prison to serve their sentence in a youth justice centre.The Administration Coordinator position sits within the Youth Parole Board Secretariat.The Secretariat team is based at Parkville Youth Justice Precinct and is required to attend 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne and the Cherry Creek Youth Justice Precinct.The opportunityFixed-Term, part-time position (two days a week -Thursday and Friday) until 10 March 2027 based in Parkville, Melbourne. This is a job share role.VPS 4 role: $97,955 - $111,142 per year plus super.Provide administration support to the Youth Parole Board through managing the administration team, providing specialist oversight and maintenance of young people records, minute taking during meetings, developing and improving procedures and other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of meetings.Develop and contribute to a positive team culture, by leading and supporting staff to ensure goals and outcomes are achieved and work collaboratively with the Secretary of the Youth Parole Board SecretariatApply expertise to accurately maintain complex database records in the Youth Justice Client Record Information System (CRIS), Oracle financial records system and related Excel spreadsheets.To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience working with the Youth Justice Client Record Information System (CRIS), or other client record management systems along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office software.
