These documents are also availablehere.About the RoleWe are looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for our Maintenance and Transport Officer role.Core Responsibilities & DutiesLiving out your faith in a Christian school communityEnsure the College grounds are maintained to a safe standard for the colleges daily operationsRespond promptly to maintenance requestsCommunicate to the Principal any matters that affect school use of property or safety concernsEnsure the school is meeting regulatory standards, compliance and insuranceSupport the Principals vision for the site, including restoring, renovating, removing and establishing facilities and amenities.Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes.Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, building strong relationships with our students.Adhere to the allocated schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient service.Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate transportation for staff and student excursions and camps.Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior, promoting a comfortable and welcoming environment for students.Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the bus.Safely load and unload students at designated stops, ensuring their well-being and maintaining order.Ensure a warm, friendly and welcoming mannerMaintains safety by operating or initiating emergency systems as trained and required.Contribute to the holistic care and welfare of studentsDemonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through professional developmentProvide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards;Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the schools child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child SafetyResponding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;Ensure students views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;Model and promote the vision and values of the school;This permanent full time position will start as soon as possible.About YouQualificationsEvidence of the right to work in AustraliaProof of identityClearance status of the Working with Children CheckReferences from previous child-connected rolesYou will:Have suitable qualifications and/or experience in maintenance / transportBe a committed Christian, comfortable with sharing your faithRelate well to staff, students and parentsHave a servant heartBenefitsAuthentic Christian community and cultureEAP program with free counsellingEmployee benefits including 15-50% off leading retail brandsGrow in your faith, skills, and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
