Collaborate with the tax team to ensure all components of the tax process are performed, including tax planning, client interaction, and special tax projects. Gather relevant tax-related information from clients to prepare accurate tax returns. Analyze tax situations from various angles to maximize tax benefits. Develop and communicate solutions to the engagement team and clients. Prepare accounting-related reports in a paperless environment. Train and mentor junior staff in the tax department. Attend training seminars, professional development, and networking events. Location: Akron or Beachwood, OH Work Arrangement: In-office or Hybrid Who You Are Bachelor''s degree in Accounting. Active CPA license or working towards it; Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted. 2-4 years of tax experience in public accounting. Knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations. Stay current with tax industry regulations and policies. Self-starter who works independently and in teams. Ability to focus on complex tasks and understand compliance processes quickly. Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
