We are looking for someone to lead and grow the business in Australia. It was founded in 2021 by Davinia Taylor, who is the UK''s leading female biohacker and incredibly passionate about empowering people to live their best lives.They are well-being pioneers, who are striving to improve the nutrient landscape for the betterment of overall mental health and physical well-being. They source the most nutritious ingredients to make powders, oils and supplements for you and your whole family to optimise your health.WillPowders have experienced so much success in the UK, built on customer satisfaction and trust, and it''s their privilege and honour to bring the power of WillPowders to Australiathe Role - We are looking for a General Manager/Managing Director to take responsibility for establishing and scaling the WillPowders brand in the Australian market. We need somebody with an entrepreneurial spirit to lead the brand in Australia and build a profitable Australian business.This includes marketing, sales, distribution, regulatory compliance, and finances while adapting global brand strategies to fit local consumer preferences and market conditions.You will need to be an all-rounder, with a background in building omnichannel consumer brands. You will also be responsible for creating a small but mighty local team while establishing relationships and processes to get the most out of the UK mothership.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership and Business DevelopmentDevelop and execute a multi-channel strategy across DTC ecommerce and retail channelsEstablish and grow relationships with key retail partners, from speciality health and wellnes stores to major chainsCreate channel specific growth strategies while maintaining brand, product and pricing consistencyThe key to success will be finding ways to approach the Australian market, testing and learning ideas, and adapting based on local consumer response.Take ownership of transforming our successful UK model into an authentically Australian business. Just because it works in the UK, it may not work in Australia.Commercial objectivesDrive e-commerce performance through digital marketing, CRM, and customer acquisition strategiesOversee customer service operations and maintain high satisfaction levels.Negotiate commercial terms and promotional calendars with retail partners (key chains and distributors)Develop trade marketing programs to increase ROS and establish new stockists.Operational and Product ManagementOversee fulfilment operations for both DTC orders and retail distributionManage inventory allocation across channels to optimise availability and minimise stockoutsCoordinate with logistics partners to maintain efficient delivery for both B2B and B2C operationsControl the COGS and margins across our product portfolio and control pricing to be both market-competitive and commercially viable for all products, including innovations. Being mindful of what works in the UK may not translate directly to Australian needs.Financial ManagementSet and manage the country P&L and growth targets.Optimise marketing spend and customer acquisition costs across channelsMonitor and improve unit economics for both DTC and retail operationsControl cash flows to ensure the operation remains lean and profitable.Brand Leadership and Market AdaptationLead the strategic localisation of the brand, maintaining core UK brand values while creating authentic connections with Australian consumersDevelop a deep understanding of Australian wellness culture, lifestyles, and consumer preferences to inform the local brand identity.Adapt global brand stories, messaging and assets to resonate with Australian audiences while preserving the brand''s heritage and authenticity.Identify and collaborate with local influencers, experts, and partners who embody both the brand values and Australian cultureTeam Structure and DevelopmentDesign and implement an efficient organisational structure that leverages UK central capabilities while building local expertise and capability.Work with UK headquarters to identify which tasks are best supported centrally and which require local leadershipBuild a lean but effective local team focused on market-specific requirements such as:Local consumer insights and market intelligenceRetail relationship management and trade marketingAustralian regulatory complianceLocal content creation and social media managementAustralian-specific customer serviceLocal production, logistics and supply chain managementEstablish clear communication channels and workflows between UK and Australian teams and develop clear decision-making frameworks that balance local autonomy with HQ alignment.Required SkillsConsumer goods and E-commerce experienceSales and Marketing expertiseAll-rounder - generalist skills and experienceBrand builder - understands purpose and power of brand and how to bring it to lifeGood with numbers (commercial and logical)Startup/ scale up experience - has seen and likes the variety, unpredictability and strategic challenges of building a business from the bottom upHands-on must be happy to both do and thinkHas owned a P&LSelf-sufficient and well-networkedPreferred SkillsHealth and wellness/health wholefood experienceHealth and wellness passionRetail experience (selling into retailers and distributors)Entrepreneurial backgroundHas worked in UK / understands UK cultureOps experience (managing suppliers, product development and supply chains) #J-18808-Ljbffr
