Job DescriptionPart Time (0.4 EFT) position to May 2027Located in Port Macquarie, traditional land of the Birpai Nation (Birpai People)Hourly rate $37.52 to $40.97 + 11.5% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550We are seeking a motivated and community-minded individual to join our team in supporting the delivery and promotion of the headspace Community Engagement Gamble Aware Program. This dynamic role involves assisting with maintaining websites and social media to enhance youth engagement, as well as developing, implementing, and evaluating youth-led events and community initiatives focused on gambling awareness. The successful candidate will help create promotional materials, support educational sessions in schools and community settings, and contribute to national campaigns and key mental health awareness events. Additionally, this position involves collaboration with the Centre Manager and Engagement Coordinator to ensure the program meets community needs, remains responsive to sector trends, and upholds the highest standards of service and accountability. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in youth mental health and community wellbeing.QualificationsYour Role, Your ImpactAssist in maintaining websites and utilising social media to develop opportunities for youth engagement and service promotion of Gamble Aware ProgramAssist with the development, implementation and evaluation of the headspace Community Engagement Gamble Aware Program in conjunction with the Community Centre Manager and Engagement CoordinatorCreate posters, flyers, agendas, minutes and reports as required to support the Community Engagement Gamble Aware ProgramDevelop, plan and implement youth-led events and projects to meet community needs with an emphasis on Gamble AwareAssist in the delivery of community-based help seeking and mental health literacy education sessions incorporating Gaming and Gambling information and education within education settings and community groupsAssist in the organisation and delivery of relevant community events and activities including headspace National Campaign activations, and important mental health awareness days/weeks with a primary focus on Gamble Aware promotion/educationSkillsHigh level of social media marketing skills including the ability to create and implement a strong social media marketing strategy that includes creating, editing and scheduling relevant and targeted content in accordance with relevant branding guidelines relating to headspace and Gamble AwareWell-developed skills in youth engagement and participation along with exceptional ability to engage and communicate to groups of people, tailoring communication to suit a specific target group or age range.High level of confidence in preparing, leading and delivering education to young peopleHigh level of computer literacy in Canva Pro and MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)What''s In It For YouAt Each youll be supported to be your best.
