Serves as a department resource for verification of charges, coding, and medical necessity.Work Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday. Full-Time, 40 hours/week.Minimum Education:High School Diploma or equivalentAssociates Degree or Certification in Healthcare Administration, Billing & Coding, or Medical Office Technology preferredExperience & Training:Two (2) years of medical billing, coding, or denials management preferredKnowledge of billing processes and revenue cycleUnderstanding of CPT and ICD-10CM codesKnowledge of medical terminologySkills & Qualifications:Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectivelyEffective verbal and written communication skillsInnovative thinking for billing workflows to enhance automation and revenueRespectful interaction with patients/customersPhysical Demands:Sedentary work involving exerting up to ten pounds of force occasionallySalary Range: $19.04/hr - $22.85/hr, based on experience and location.
