We are proud to offer competitive benefits and industry pay as well as the opportunity for career advancement to all our team members.PHARMACIST - 2ND SHIFTOverviewThe Pharmacist is responsible for the day-to-day operational duties associated with the dispensing of prescription medication in a long-term/post-acute care pharmacy. The Pharmacist must adhere to the company''s quality and customer service standards, policies, and procedures, as well as State and Federal guidelines.ResponsibilitiesVerify the completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders. Check medication packaging and labeling, including emergency drug kits and IV medications.Maintain resident database with current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and medications (including OTC and home remedies).Assist in ordering, handling, receiving, documenting, and storing controlled substances; maintain a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.Work with pharmacy technicians to reconcile controlled substances inventory for compliance with regulations.Provide clinical expertise by responding to drug-related questions from staff and customers.Document all communication with healthcare team members and patients/residents in medical records.Supervise the preparation of sterile IV drug products or solutions.Provide coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Follow all applicable regulations including HIPAA.Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may vary based on business needs.Ensure the flow of work and desired outcomes.QualificationsActive Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of practice.Management experience preferred.Bachelor''s degree or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited school.Accurate and efficient dispensing skills.Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Experience with FrameworkLTC, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.At least 2 years recent experience in an acute-care setting or 1 year as a production pharmacist preferred.Knowledge of intravenous admixtures and therapy is desirable.Excellent communication skills in English.Ability to work independently and in a team, meet deadlines, prioritize, and problem-solve.Mature judgment and ability to work under supervision.Physical DemandsSit or stand for 7-10 hours daily.Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, walking, crawling.Extended hours may be required.Lift/move up to 50 pounds.Holiday & PTO Policy6 paid holidays annually, plus 5 sick days.Up to 10 PTO days per year with rollover and milestone bonuses.Option to cash out up to 10 PTO hours quarterly.Benefits for Full-time EmployeesMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance.401K plan (available for part-time and full-time employees).Disability insurance.Tuition reimbursement.PTO benefits.Competitive pay with performance reviews and raises.Career growth opportunities.Annual flu vaccines.Employee referral bonus.Additional DetailsPosition is part-time, entry level, in the healthcare provider industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
