You will play a crucial part in the Ebury onboarding process, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements while maintaining direct contact with clients to effectively communicate our onboarding standards.Your keen analytical skills will be essential as you identify complex ownership structures and financial transaction patterns, allowing you to make informed risk-based decisions on client applications. Apply now to become an integral part of our Onboarding team at Ebury!ResponsibilitiesSafeguarding Ebury, our existing Clients and prospective Client relationships from financial crime risk - including money laundering, terrorist financing, bribery and corruption, fraud, sanctions risk, tax evasion and reputational riskPerforming anti-financial crime checks as part of the Ebury Onboarding process for corporate clients in compliance with relevant legislative, regulatory and internal requirementsEIS collaborates with a diverse range of clients, including Trust & Corporate Service Providers, MiFID clients, Funds, and SPVs.Comprehensive CDD and EDD checks for EIS clients, including the KYC process, identification and analysis of complex ownership structures, financial statements and transaction patternsComprehensive knowledge of funds, trusts and SPVsCDD/EDD analysis across all types of legal entities and business sectors in a variety of jurisdictions with an emphasis on local clientsDirect contact with clientsPresentation of Eburys onboarding requirements to clients in a clear and compliant mannerIdentification of red flags and exposure to financial crime risk, including escalation to Compliance and Senior Management where requiredMaking risk-based decisions to onboard or reject applicationsEfficient management of a personal portfolio of onboarding casesAbility to function and communicate effectively in a multi-jurisdictional environmentProactive follow-up with clients and sales representatives to ensure timely completion of onboarding analysisDocumenting client files in a structured format compliant with internal requirementsIdentifying opportunities for improvement within the onboarding processSupport ad-hoc projects within the department and wider business as requiredValidation of checks carried out by other members of the teamSupport in training deliveryRequirementsFluency in English.
