We are seeking a Patient Access Liaison, Call Center Rep for a full-time position with hours from 10am to 6:30pm, including occasional Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. There is potential to work from home after 30-60 days of on-site training.ResponsibilitiesAssist callers and patients with way-finding, appointment scheduling, pre-service registration, insurance verification, co-pay collection, physician referral, initial screening of patient symptoms, class scheduling, and other inquiries. Provide high-quality customer service to create a positive impression of Summa Health.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED required; post-secondary coursework in healthcare, business, or related fields preferred.At least 1 year of customer service or office support experience preferred; contact center experience is a plus.Knowledge of registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, and patient accounts is advantageous.Ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations, demonstrating respect and dignity.Proficiency in keyboarding and Microsoft Office applications.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail.Physical and Other RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods up to 12 hours.Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Reliable transportation and flexibility to adjust work hours are required.Compensation and BenefitsSalary ranges from $17.26 to $20.71 per hour, based on experience and location.
