About Wauchope District Memorial Hospital The hospital is a 26-bed facility with a 7-day Urgent Care Centre, offering services such as day surgery, palliative care, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, pharmacy, dietetics, pathology, and x-ray. Role Responsibilities The Assistant in Nursing provides nursing care under supervision, reflecting current standards and policies, including observations and assistance with daily living activities. Candidate Requirements Completion of a relevant Certificate III (or higher) in Health Services Assistance or equivalent experience, or enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing with at least 1 year of training. Knowledge of basic nursing care, including vital signs and activities of daily living. Effective communication skills. Ability to work under supervision within a multidisciplinary team.
