Every student is remarkable in the making.Description:The role:Applications are invited for qualified Learning Enrichment Teachers with experience overseeing learning support activities for 7-12. This is a permanent full-time role, start date negotiable.This key position within Kambala''s senior school manages the Learning Enrichment team, coordinating staff and activities to support students. It involves developing strategies, systems, and structures to foster inclusivity and connectedness. Main responsibilities include:Head of Department tasks, including staffing and budgeting.Monitoring LE practices across 7-12 (planning, assessment, feedback, documentation).Developing and reviewing Individualized Learning Plans.Documenting and tracking student support needs, including NCCD compliance.Liaising with pastoral staff, parents, and health professionals, and implementing recommendations.Providing direct support to assigned students.Skills and Experiences:The ideal candidate:Is NESA-qualified to teach in NSW.Has at least 5 years of secondary learning support experience.Possesses postgraduate qualifications or extensive equivalent experience.Has knowledge of managerial and administrative aspects of learning support.Has team leadership experience.Is passionate about supporting students with diverse needs.Is open-minded and innovative in pedagogical and pastoral practices.Is confident, communicative, and a positive team player contributing to Kambala''s culture.We offer:Competitive pay, including a Level 2 Leadership Allowance.Two periods per cycle as personal time for work/life balance.Harbourside location with staff shuttle bus access.Onsite or street parking.Affordable hot and cold lunch options.Professional development through KITE.Access to school facilities like pool and gym.An inclusive environment where everyone can be authentic.Note: Saturday sport is not required.
