Youll work closely with the leadership team and engage with the Townsville community to achieve these goals. Key to the role is ensuring safety, personal accountability, and a customer-focused approach, while contributing to Townsville''s strategic vision. You will also be expected to role-model the values, performance standards, and behaviors that reflect our workplace culture and reputation for excellence. As a key player in Community Engagement, you will collaborate across Council to support the growth of Townsville and help deliver the Corporate Plan in partnership with the community. About You A focus on outcomes and creating a culture where everyone takes personal responsibility for delivering Councils Corporate Plan and policies. The ability to follow directions to ensure business continuity during disruptions, including disasters or unexpected events. Strong teamwork skills to collaborate within the Engagement team and across Council, ensuring smooth communication and timely project delivery with positive, customer-focused outcomes. Problem-solving, research, and analytical skills to help develop Council plans, programs, and projects through effective engagement design and delivery. The ability to work closely with other departments, understanding their engagement needs and providing tactical advice and support for successful community engagement.
