CLICK APPLY NOW!What You''ll Be DoingThe Clinical Midwife Consultant (CMC)/Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert practitioner who, through leadership facilitates evidence based practice. The CMC/CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership.The CMC/CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes. The CMC/CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective management of the care in the given specialty.Where You''ll Be WorkingSWSLHD Drug Health Services operates across the South Western Sydney Local Health District, providing a comprehensive range of treatments and interventions for individuals, families, and carers affected by alcohol and other drug use.The services include inpatient withdrawal at the ''Corella'' unit in Fairfield, the Opioid Treatment Program, outpatient clinics, and specialised teams such as the Aboriginal Drug & Alcohol Team and the Youth Service. View our application guide for information on how to respond to criteria and improve your application.Current Authority to Practice as a Midwife/Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field. In addition, the employee must have approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field in which the employee is appointed, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
