Add expected salary to your profile for insights.Hired Labour is pleased to be partnering with Blenners Transport in the recruitment of this key role.Blenners Transport is a proudly Australian Owned and family operated transport business with 35 years experience specialising in refrigerated transport Australia Wide.With depots across Brisbane, Tully and Far North Queensland, Blenners are the nationally trusted and respected refrigerated transport solution, working with leading retailers and well-known and reputable brands Australia-wide, with a strong emphasis on their customers and their team.We are currently seeking applications for a Full Time Payroll Lead based in our Tully Depot to provide operational payroll services to the organisation.Key responsibilities/accountabilities:Management of Payroll accounting and processing.Support the processing of weekly payroll, including new starters, leavers, timesheets, calculating pay.Support the provision of Payroll related reporting (e.g. weekly KPIs and manager reports) both scheduled and on request.Ensure the management of all types of leave e.g. holiday, sick, maternity, volunteering and schemes are completed effectively.Provide any other Payroll, accounting or administrative related tasks, as identified.Assist in processing payroll ensuring correct pay rates, pay types and costing allocation.Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.Timely and accurate processing of end-to-end payroll including salary packaging, leave management and superannuation.Respond to staff wage and salary queries.Interpreting and applying a variety of awards.Preparation of superannuation statements.Assist managers by providing necessary reports.Qualifications & Experience:At least 2 years experience in a similar role.Effective communicator both verbally and written at all levels.Fosters and encourages an environment of strong team development.Fosters and encourages an environment of continuous improvement.Responds appropriately to demands and challenges.Ability to prioritise and focus on critical issues.Ability to apply knowledge in a practical and commercial manner.Strives for innovation.Excellent attention to detail.Internal Customer service focused.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.Excellent computer skills and knowledge.Experience with Micropay or similar & HRIS systems.If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please apply with your current resume and a cover letter by clicking the Apply button.Blenners Transport is an equal opportunity employer, we strongly encourage applicants from all backgrounds, genders and ages to apply.Only short listed applicants will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
