This role is crucial for managing and coordinating various training-related activities and ensuring smooth operations within the organisation.About the RoleThe purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive support in administering training programs, managing logistics, and maintaining accurate training records. The Business Support Officer will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of training activities.Key Responsibilities:Administer training nominations, registration, and logistics.Request Purchase Orders for training as required.Liaise with external training providers to obtain quotes and course availability.Book and set up classrooms and training venues (onsite and offsite as needed).Prepare attendance sheets and maintain training records (e.g., training lists, schedules, attendance sheets, record pricing).Prepare training rooms and keep them properly set up.Create, review, and disseminate training materials, such as instructional notes and feedback forms.Prepare reports on training activities and results.Request purchase orders from the Procurement team as needed.Send calendar invites and messages to staff for training.Send out reminders and call staff prior to training sessions.About You:Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as it is a core part of the role.Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers.Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.Strong problem-solving skills.Benefits:$49.40 per hour + superPotential long term government contractLocated in Cairns #J-18808-Ljbffr
