The Opportunity We have a rare opportunity for a motivated and ambitious sales professional to create a new sales territory and drive growth and market share across Queensland. While our brand is strong, there is still significant opportunity to grow this diverse territory and establish long-term partnerships. On a day-to-day basis, you will support our dealer network and end-users through sales and technical support. Additionally, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage key relationships with dealers, farmers, and service organizations, and provide on-farm consultations. The role also involves identifying opportunities to grow the region through strategic networking, building partnerships, and running events to enhance brand awareness. The Fit We are looking for someone eager for a challenge, willing to understand our customers needs by visiting farms, and capable of delivering comprehensive, whole-solution sales of both hardware and software. This role suits a strategic thinker who enjoys solving problems from all angles and finds satisfaction in providing the best product solutions, not just closing sales. You should be able to relate to a broad customer base, including local farmers, retail salespeople, farm managers, farm owners, and corporate farms. More importantly, you will have the ability to sell the future of digital farming to our customers. Additionally, you will have: Proven sales success, with knowledge of the agricultural sector; experience selling both hardware and software is advantageous. Experience in developing new business and creating strategic sales plans. Strong commercial acumen with experience managing relationships with key customers and dealers/resellers. Strong digital skills, with knowledge of cloud-based solutions and the ability to communicate technical information effectively. A hunter mindset with a drive for success and results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in presenting and running events is a plus. The successful candidate will ideally be located in or around Toowoomba, but some flexibility is permitted as long as it is within the territory. Why Gallagher?
