Our purpose is to transition the world to a clean energy future.As Australias only end-to-end provider of all renewable energy technologies, with proven experience integrating solar, wind, battery energy storage and green hydrogen into new and existing systems, we deliver industry firsts that are leading the clean energy transition.Job DescriptionThe RoleAs the Field Service Mechanic, you are responsible for the maintenance, and repair of power generation equipment at various customer sites across WA, SA, NT, and NSW. This role requires a highly skilled and safety-conscious individual with excellent technical knowledge of power generation equipment and systems. Exposure to generator commissioning, state of the art thermal and renewable power generation technology and OEM training is on offer.This role is on a 15:13 roster, with point of hire Perth.Key ResponsibilitiesComply with safety policies, procedures, and promote a safe working environment.Actively participate in safety meetings and training programs.Repair and maintain power generation equipment at various customer sites.Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance of power generation equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.Respond to emergency repair calls and breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime for the customer.Possess strong IT skills to keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labour hours, expenses, and provide detailed reports to the Service Manager.Provide exceptional customer service and communicating effectively to ensure their needs are met.Work collaboratively with other technicians and support staff.Model and encourage Pacific Energy values in all your workplace relationships.Desired Skills And ExperienceAbout You:Relevant Trade Certificate.Minimum 3 years experience working with power generation equipment, including experience with mechanical and electrical systems.Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety.Additional Benefits IncludeOpportunity to apply for additional leave (Purchase Leave)Employee Discretionary Bonus ProgramSalary continuance insuranceRewards Gateway for our employeesEmployee Referral RewardWe are an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Pacific Energy, we celebrate the richness and depth that diversity brings.
