We are passionate about helping students achieve their goals, using their God-given talents to the best of their ability through quality education and effective learning.We believe that strong trust relationships between teachers and students form the foundations for outstanding teaching and learning.We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following position on a Short-term contract commencing as soon as possible.Inclusive Education, Education Assistant: Monday Friday (70 hours/fortnight)Secondary School: Year 7 to Year 12Short-Term Contract Period: Commence as soon as possible 30 May 2025We are looking for an outstanding, passionate, and inspiring Learning Support Assistant to support students who need special accommodations.Assist students with special learning requirements, including non-funded students with disabilities and students with English as a second language.Assist students who require extra time to complete assessments/ tests/exams and, if required, a reader and/or scribe in tests.Collaborate with Teachers to identify student issues and recommend solutions.Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to enhance their learning and understanding of the curriculum.The successful applicant must have the following:an active Christian faithHave the relevant qualifications in the area of Learning Support (Cert IV) and experience, be approachable, and relate well to students.experience in writing and implementing Individual Educational Programmes (IEPs)a passion for supporting Secondary School students with learning difficulties in an engaging and relevant waythe capacity to work harmoniously in a teamIf you can tick the following boxes, we would love to meet you to explore the possibilities:You are passionate about living out your Christian faith, and you are prepared to model, uphold, and support the Ethos and Core Values of the CollegeYou have developed a variety of support strategies to meet the needs of all the students you support.You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including team-building and mentoring skills.You are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure your students are always well provided for.You are committed to supporting College policies and procedures relating to Classroom and Behaviour Management.You have an understanding of technology and can integrate this confidently into your role.Additional Requirements:The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principal, Child Safe Modules if not already completed.You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).You hold a current WWC card.A Current Police Clearance.Excited by the possibilities?
