Job DutiesOperate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously.Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station''s service area.Perform related customer service functions.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum ExperienceSix (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the service area.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station''s service area is preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.Job ConditionsNeat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires a medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid drivers license appropriate for the vehicle type and have a good driving record as per policy.
