Barrier Reef Tavern is seeking an experienced cook to join our energetic and friendly team. Working under a dedicated Head Chef, you''ll be part of a fun, family-like environment that offers a fast-paced culinary experience. We require a candidate with: Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen across various cuisines and styles. Ability to work 5 days within a 7-day operational week. Qualifications or equivalent trade experience. Flexible attitude, clear communication, and excellent customer service skills. Immaculate grooming and presentation pride. Capability to manage your own section and maintain high-quality food standards. Strong food presentation skills and commitment to top quality. Good verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of food hygiene practices and compliance. Availability for a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday. Approximately 38 hours per week. Trade qualifications completed.
