Your role includes taking her to and from Macquarie Centre once a fortnight, helping her while at the shops (e.g., carrying bags, chatting, having coffee together). She uses a walker but does not need assistance walking.Your ImpactVolunteering as a social visitor can be rewarding for both you and the person you visit. Regular visits can enhance quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation among older people.
