You will be responsible for installing, jointing, terminating, and maintaining high and low-voltage power cables in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will be based in our Campbelltown office.About the role:Installing, jointing, and terminating low and high-voltage cables.Performing underground cable jointing and termination work for distribution networks.Conducting tests and fault-finding on electrical cables.Working in compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions.Working with a team to complete projects on time and within budget.Maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.Liaising with supervisors, engineers, and clients regarding project requirements and progress.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout you:Proven experience as a Cable Jointer with testing experienceRelevant industry experience with Paper lead joining preferred.Experience with LV & HV from 11Kv up to 33KvNetwork authority trainingKnowledge of electrical safety procedures and regulations.Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver''s licenseWhats on offer:Variety of work1 or 2 RDOs per monthEBA annual increasesAbout us:IPD Group is a dynamic ASX listed, Australian owned business.
