Youll have the chance to shape our teams culture, mentor future leaders, and contribute to the growth of both our clients and our agency.What Were Looking For: 57+ years of hands-on media buying (at least a portion of that must be recent), with 12 years in a leadership role or mentoring capacity. Youve stayed close to the tools and can confidently build, assess, and optimise accounts. Platform fluency. Deep understanding of Meta and Google Ads is a must. Bonus points for experience with TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Bing, Programmatic, etc. We already have outstanding team leaders with deep PPC expertise, so were looking to complement that by bringing in a team leader whos particularly strong in Meta and LinkedIn advertising. Versatile account experience. Youve run $100k+ monthly budgets but can also coach someone managing a $10k/month account through complexity, pressure, and constraints. Cross-vertical expertise. Youve worked across eCommerce and lead-gen accounts (SaaS and service-based) and know how to pivot between verticals with confidence. Strong communicator and coach. Youre comfortable giving direct feedback, guiding strategic conversations, and helping team members troubleshoot issues in real-time. Salary expectations: Youre seeking a full-time role with a package between $108k$120k + super + benefits.Here''s What You''ll Be Doing in the Performance Director role: Leading and Growing Your Team:Youll be the go-to mentor for a fantastic team of Senior and Junior Media Buyers, helping them grow both professionally and personally.Youll set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and have one-on-one coaching sessions that make a real difference.We love learning, and so do you! Youll develop fun, engaging training programs to keep the team ahead of the game in execution, strategy, and industry innovations.When challenges arise, youll guide your team with expertise and creativity, helping them solve problems with confidence. Shaping the Strategy:As a leader in the agency, youll stay on top of the latest trends, tech, and AI innovations in the performance marketing space.Youll get to work closely with platform partners like Google and Meta, and support the Head of Performance with exciting training and best practice rollouts.Teamwork is key! Youll collaborate with creative, strategy, and account management teams to create top-notch, omni-channel media plans.Youll keep your finger on the pulse to ensure campaigns are always executed to the highest standards and optimised for success. Stay Current On The Tools:Youll still get to roll up your sleeves for a select number of high-value clients, helping develop and optimise killer strategies that deliver results.Youll manage the execution of these campaigns, making sure they stay on track with budget pacing, testing, and optimisations.Clear, strategic client communication is a must, and youll provide high-level performance insights to keep everyone on the same page.
