The Curriculum Development team is responsible for the innovation, development, review and implementation of RACP education programs and curricula.The primary role of the Education Development Officer is to support the Curriculum Development team to design, develop and review the Colleges curricula, education programs and supporting resources in line with agreed educational frameworks, and support implementation of newly-developed curricula across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and implement strategic frameworks and plans for the revision of College curricula, education programs, assessments, and training program requirementsManage, support, negotiate with, and advise specialty groups and committees to develop and review their curriculum and resources, to achieve College standards.Design, develop, organise and facilitate workshops and training sessions on curricula development and implementation with College members and other stakeholders.Write curriculum content in collaboration with stakeholders and subject-matter experts.Develop communication and change management strategies, plans and collateral to support consultation and implementation activities.Effectively translate educational concepts and stakeholder feedback into actionable plans and productsDesired Skills and ExperienceRelevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Adult Education, Curriculum Development) and/or extensive relevant experienceKnowledge of the methods used to research, develop, write and implement educational curricula, training resources or professional/industry-based training programs/systemsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent attention to detailHigh level conceptual, design and analytical skillsAbility to translate and synthesise complex informationAbility to design, evaluate and adapt processesAbility to design, develop and facilitate workshopsAbility to coordinate projects with diverse stakeholdersInterested?To apply for the role, submit your CV via our Careers website or Seek by COB 2 April 2025.We will be reviewing applications and interviewing suitable candidates throughout the advertising period.
