Join NSWs specialist-led Special Needs Dentistry serviceAdvance your skills in hospital-based dentistryCare for patients with complex needs & disabilitiesJoin NSWs leading Special Needs Dentistry team to deliver advanced care and support patients with complex medical and dental needs.Employment Type: Permanent Full TimePosition Classification: Oral Health Therapist Level 1 / Level 2Remuneration: $73,427 - $104,753 per annumHours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part-time hours)Location: WestmeadWhere you''ll be workingThe Special Needs Department of Westmeads Dental Hospital (WSLHD Oral Health Services) is the only state-wide referral service for specialist-led Special Needs Dentistry, providing dental treatment to patients with physical and intellectual disabilities, complex medical issues, and those who find it difficult to access mainstream dental services or are not medically stable enough for community treatment.What you''ll be doingProvide high-standard general oral health care, including oral health education, to eligible patients across Western Sydney Local Health District. The role includes oral health promotion, population health activities, and supporting inpatient care through ward visits and transfers. As a Level 2 Oral Health Therapist, demonstrate advanced clinical, diagnostic, and client management skills in a consultant-led setting.
