Inspire Energy is a purpose-driven solar company focused on delivering large-scale solar installations that reduce environmental impact and empower communities.As we grow, were seeking a proactive and strategic Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This person will play a key role in driving business growth, leading project execution, and overseeing all aspects of operations from stock control and logistics to team performance and process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Operations & StrategyOversee daily operations across the business to ensure optimal productivity and efficiencyIdentify areas for improvement and implement operational processes that support scalabilityCollaborate with directors to develop and execute business growth strategiesDevelop operational KPIs and reporting systems to monitor performance and progressProject ManagementLead and manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale solar projectsEnsure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budgetManage client relationships and expectations throughout project lifecyclesCoordinate with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and installation teamsManage and support a cross-functional team, fostering a high-performance cultureRecruit, train, and develop team members to ensure alignment with company values and goalsConduct performance reviews and implement ongoing training initiativesStock Control & LogisticsOversee procurement, inventory management, and stock control systemsForecast material requirements and ensure timely delivery of equipment to project sitesCoordinate warehousing, logistics, and transportation to support seamless operationsCompliance & SafetyEnsure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and internal policiesMonitor WHS practices across all sites and manage incident reporting and responseMaintain documentation and certifications for audits and inspectionsSkills & QualificationsProven experience in an Operations or Project Management role (preferably in solar or construction) and government tendersStrong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skillsExceptional planning, time management, and organisational skillsKnowledge of supply chain management and logistics systemsExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesStrong commercial acumen and ability to align operations with growth targetsProficient with project management tools, reporting dashboards, and CRM systems (Simpro experience preferred)Understanding of solar installation processes, electrical compliance, and renewable energy markets is a bonus.
