(pro rata for part-time) plus 17% superYour next career opportunityThis newly established position offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Research Assistant to work closely with the Bob Dickens Chair in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery. Providing high-level research and administrative support, and playing a vital role in advancing knowledge in this field at a national level. The role will encompass project management, ethics applications, and clinical trials, alongside supporting the development of innovative assessment tools and methodologies. You will also engage with key stakeholders to facilitate meaningful collaboration and impact. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary environment that is shaping the future of paediatric healthcare through excellence in research, teaching, and clinical practice.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting research activities by contributing to project management, ethics applications, embedded trials, and the development of innovative assessment tools.Conducting literature searches, maintaining EndNote libraries, assisting with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, and contributing to grant applications and research dissemination.Engaging with key stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience, to facilitate collaboration and ensure research is impactful and widely recognised.Participating in departmental and campus-wide seminars, meetings, and committees while upholding the Universitys values of integrity, professionalism, and inclusivity.You may be a great fit if:You are a highly organised and proactive individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
