Mandatory requirements Valid Blue Card Manual Medium Rigid (MR) drivers license Current Apply First Aid Certificate Current Advanced Resuscitation Certificate Compliance with medical and fitness standards Criminal History Check Clinical Psychometric Assessment Your key accountabilities Operations Management Respond to fires, rescues, hazardous material incidents, etc. Operate emergency vehicles and equipment safely and effectively. Provide first aid and maintain operational readiness of equipment and resources. Perform functions within the operational management framework including research, risk reduction, readiness, response, and recovery. Community Safety Operations Promote fire prevention and community education. Assist with property inspections, evacuation plans, and emergency procedures. Communicate effectively with colleagues and the community. Professional Development Maintain competencies and pursue training opportunities. Participate in technical and operational functions. Operations Business Management Undertake administrative duties and maintain records. Promote a safe, healthy, and professional work environment. Adhere to legislative and organizational policies, including WHS legislation.
