The OpportunityJoin HammondCares Dementia Centre as a Research Assistant and support vital clinical trials focused on Alzheimers Disease. Based in Malvern, VIC, youll work alongside a dedicated team to assist with trial administration, participant coordination, and data collection, with opportunities for hands-on clinical tasks. This is a meaningful role where youll contribute to research that improves quality of life for people living with dementia.The roleIn this role, the Research Assistant will support Clinical Trial Coordinators by providing both administrative and clinical assistance across various aspects of clinical trials. Key responsibilities include organising and scheduling appointments and meetings, assisting with the completion and proper filing of trial documentation, and helping to manage study materials and supplies. This position plays an integral part in ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of clinical trial activities.This role is offered as a Permanent Full-Time position. Filing documents; responding to queries).Liaising with study sponsors and monitors to ensure trials are conducted as per protocol and within HammondCare SOPs.Communicating effectively with the Clinical Trial Coordinators, Manager, and Investigators.Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with other organisations and individuals relevant to sustaining a research culture at HammondCare.What do we need from you?Minimum Bachelor of Science or equivalent.Current or previous employment in clinical trials or other relevant research.Excellent record keeping skills with a keen eye for detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team (including demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills).Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.Strong administrative and computer skills.Desirable:Dementia clinical trial experience.Venepuncture, cannulation and ECG experience.GCP & IATA certificationReady to make a change?
