This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team that brings together both experienced and new members, working together to ensure teacher accreditation standards are upheld across NSW.On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:Providing accurate and high-quality administrative support, including routine correspondence, records management, and responding to phone and email enquiries.Respond to and resolve complex enquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information and timely issue resolution.Coordinating and maintaining key databases and recordkeeping systems to ensure data integrity and compliance with policies.Supporting the verification of Working with Children Checks and conducting probity and criminal history checks in line with regulatory requirements.Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders on sensitive matters, including accreditation suspensions, revocations and voluntary cancellations.Assisting with the ongoing development and improvement of administrative systems and processes to support efficient team operations.Our ideal candidate will have:A proactive, detail-oriented approach to administration with experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Confidence in working with systems and databases, and a commitment to accurate recordkeeping and documentation.The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture.Working with children check clearance for paid employment (prior to commencement, not required at the application stage)Download the role description.About usAt the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) we work with the NSW community to drive improvements in student achievement.We achieve this by supporting all school sectors with high-quality syllabuses, assessment (including managing the HSC and NAPLAN), teaching standards (e.g., accrediting teachers) and school environments (including setting and monitoring school standards).To find out more about the important work we do for NSW visit our website.Ready to join us?Select apply and attach an up-to-date rsum (maximum 5 pages) and a cover letter (maximum 2 pages).
