There is opportunity for a full-time/part time or casual position that will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their health and fitness goals through evidence-based exercise prescription and rehabilitation programs. As part of our commitment to work life balance, we offer the flexibility for you to manage your own roster, giving you the freedom to structure your work hours around your personal and professional needs.What you''ll be doingConduct comprehensive health, fitness and functional assessments to develop tailored exercise programs for a diverse client baseDeliver one-on-one and group exercise sessions for clients with a range of medical conditions and rehabilitation needsMonitor client progress and adjust programs as needed to ensure optimal outcomesProvide education and support to clients to help them adopt sustainable healthy behavioursCollaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to client care including NDIS and return to work goals in the insurance fieldMaintain comprehensive records and write reports in line with advocating for client needsWhat we''re looking forCurrent ESSA (Exercise & Sports Science Australia) accreditation as an Accredited Exercise PhysiologistDemonstrated experience in clinical exercise prescription and rehabilitation for clients with a variety of medical conditionsExperience in Workers Compensation insurance, CTP insurance, Medicare, NDIS, DVA, and the private health sectorsDemonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a teamCommitment to providing empathetic and client-centred careStrong interpersonal, rapport building and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and motivate clientsExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop tailored exercise programs that may vary day to dayPassion for helping people improve their health and well-being through exerciseWorking with Children Check (preferred)Valid Drivers LicenceRegistration and Provider Number with Medicare and SIRA (preferred)Experience in using Nookal patient software program (preferred)What We OfferCompetitive salary package between $70,000 and $80,000 plus superannuationImmediate start with opportunities for professional growthEnjoy the flexibility to manage your own rosterSupportive and collaborative team environmentAccess to a modern and fully equipped gym facilityOpportunities to work across a variety of sectors, enhancing your professional experienceAbout usAt Advanced Exercise Physiology, we are dedicated to providing exceptional exercise physiology services across various sectors, including WorkCover, CTP, Medicare, NDIS, DVA, and private health.
